Διαδικτυακή συνάντηση

Οι μαθητές της ομάδας του προγράμματος Erasmus+ 2020-22 του Μουσικού Σχολείου Κορίνθου, συναντήθηκαν διαδικτυακά την Τρίτη 2/02/2021 με τους μαθητές της ομάδας της Λιθουανίας. Σε αυτή τη θερμή εξ αποστάσεως διαδικτυακή συνάντηση, οι μαθητές μας ενημερώθηκαν από τους Λιθουανούς συνομηλίκους τους για την ιστορία της χώρας τους, τη μουσική, τους χορούς και τα παραδοσιακά τους τραγούδια. Οι υπεύθυνοι καθηγητές και των δύο ομάδων, γνωρίστηκαν, συζήτησαν με τους μαθητές και των δύο ομάδων και αντάλλαξαν απόψεις για τις τρέχουσες δραστηριότητες του προγράμματος.

Ήταν μια όμορφη συνάντηση που χαροποίησε μαθητές και καθηγητές και αποτέλεσε την αρχή των συμπράξεων και συνεργασιών των συμμετεχόντων, με κοινό στόχο την καλύτερη υλοποίηση του προγράμματος αυτού.

Activity

The students of the Erasmus + 2020-22 program of the Music School of Corinth met online on Tuesday 2/02/2021 with the students of the Lithuanian team. During this warm online meeting, our students were informed by their Lithuanian peers about the history of their country, their music, their dances and their traditional songs. The responsible teachers of both groups met, discussed and exchanged views on the current activities of the program with the students of both groups.

It was a beautiful meeting that left both students and teachers really pleased and was the beginning of partnerships and collaborations of the participants whose common goal is the better implementation of the program.

A few words about our School

The Music School of Corinth was founded in 2006 and is located in the Municipality of Corinth. For the last 9 years, it has been housed in the building at 94 Mpoumpoulinas Street, in Poseidonia, Corinth.

Today, the number of students and teachers amounts to 214 and 50 accordingly. The selection of students is made in the first class of the Junior High School with entrance exams and in the other classes based on students’ qualifications. The students of the 3rd grade of our Lyceum score quite satisfactorily in the national exams and are admitted to institutions of higher education.

Our School is a dynamic and renowned educational institution in which remarkable educational, artistic and cultural work is performed where well connected and cooperative educational communities are created.

At our school, the curriculum of general education courses is implemented, as it is applied in all other Junior High Schools and Lyceums as well as additional music education courses taught either in groups as a classor at music labs (music in ensembles , choirs, theory of traditional music, theory of European music, harmony, history of music, dictation, either individually as compulsory instruments such as piano but also as instruments of choice (violin, saxophone, clarinet, guitar, outi, flute, bouzouki).

Additionally, according to the current legislation but also serving the vision of the School for the versatile development of our students both in musical and artistic level and for their wider cultural insight, the school holds numerous events or participates in events of other organizations within and outside our city, even outside the country.

With one of its main aims being extroversion, our school in recent years has been implementing European programs strengthening the concept of “the European citizenship identity’’ of the participating students, while offering at the same time the opportunity to develop skills through experiences and collaborative actions.
